Great candid capture. The expression on his face says it all. Love the lighting and depth. Really great work Willie. Enjoyed this man's joy!

What a great expression! Also nicely balanced photo, great backlit highlights especially on that tasty looking fish. I wonder if it might have been a stronger image shot vertically so we could have seen more of that river, I can see some very interesting glowing highlights on the river behind the fish. Great example of an outdoor portrait. Well done. Hope the fish tasted good.

This is a really good shot. Almost looks like 3D. Pin sharp, and the man and the fish he caught really stands out from the background. Very nice DOF, and very good use of light. Fantastic colors. Well balanced and lovely composed.

Terrific shot
So natural and spontaneous
Caught him looking so happy and accomplished and all it took was catching a little fish.
A great lesson to be learned from this photo
Enjoyed

What a nice Photo of this Fisherman and his catch. The color are beautiful along with the clarity of the COI. The blur in the background give focus too. Good cropping too. I enjoy reviewing your work and thank you for sharing

The storyline makes this shot more interesting than just a happy face! Great clarity and the lighting is very good. Dof makes this look almost 3d. I like the positioning of the fish, which is just a little out of focus. It's the man's face that draws the viewer into the shot. Good color and presentation. Talk about determination...a plastic bottle?! Thanks for sharing.

This could be mistaken as a "grip and grin" shot, if not for the expression you caught in this guy's eyes. They tell the story of his excitement and pride at catching that fish. Good use of depth of field to separate the subject from the background. Excellent color and cropping. Excellent job. Thanks for sharing.

Journalism Photography.
I love this photo. You capture share joy and excitement on the fisherman face. Great artist notes which made me appreciate this all the more. Knowing how inventive the man was in over coming his pole braking. Making this catch surely one of his best fishing stories.
Thank you, Rita cyber 5.5
