You do seem to have light falling from the left side as well as over the roof and front of the house. even some light falling down the hill towards the house. I like your image but it is quite bright in sections. The top edge of the roofline has one very bright spot. From your notes, I don't understand how this is possible. Perhaps it would help if you gave what ISO it was shot at, did you use a tripod? It's a cloudy sky, yet there is a diagonal shape of light on the right foreground of what appears to be a building yet the light reveals trees. Nothing seems very natural or very real due to this bizarre lighting.

My information was probably not 100 % accurate. Sorry about that. I had to go back in time and try to remember exactly how the light was. I have edited my notes. Hope it makes more sence after you have read them. Thanks for the review.

At first I see a night photo with a moon. It is very nice eye catcher. At closer look, I see a beautiful scenery shot. This photo has great rules of thirds which draws in the viewer, The light of the moon hitting the snowy roof is great. I was wondering if it might be too dark or not, I think it looks great. On a photo like this the best way to tell is by seeing a print of it. I love it, it is beautiful. Great job.

Thats Pretty. I like the way the moon light is reflecting off the snow on the roof of the house. The moon being out of focus is very nice here, the story here to me is not the moon but the weather at this house. All aspects of this are great. You can be proud of this one.

I think the lighting on this image is actually pretty good. Nice lighting from the moon picking out some of the details really well. Nicely softened especially in the sky.

I think this is beautiful the way you took it. The darkness makes the moonlight on the roof and snow look really nice. I like the misty look to the moon. I was told when the moon looked like this, you could expect rain the next day. Excellent picture. Good luck in the contest.

this is beautiful. i love the soft glow of moonlight and the way it shines and reflects on the roof of the house. even tho its not a close up the details r great. the shadowing is great and the snow adds such a pure quality.
