Very good color balance and lighting. Good focus. Nice catchlight in the bird's eye. Good composition. I like the details in the feathers and the multiple colors.

I see we will get along famously, as I also love to photograph birds. You have a real talent for it. The color here is beautiful. The clarity and COI are perfect and he pops right off that nicely blurred background. I especially appreciate the catch lights in his eye! Very nice work!

What an excellent photo. Very detailed, true colors, focus is right on down to the hairs on his chin. I envy you. I have been trying to get pictures as perfect as this for two weeks or more. I love the way you filled the frame with just his head plus a little. The blurred background blocks out everything and brings your eye to exctly where you want it to be. I congratulate you on getting such a beautiful photo.
