Wonderful capture of the feather texture, and the color is nice. We have these here as well, but haven't thought of taking a shot of them! Love the close shot of the eye and the bits of grey feathers poking through the blue..he needs a brushing! Donkeyoatey

I'd like to see more room in front of his face and the one tiny area in the lower right draws my eye BUT... This is wonderful and he is gorgeous. We don't have them here so Iam thrilled to see him. Willie I have many feeders in my yard and love the birds and in fact used to have about 250 exotics that I raised and sold so You pictures are a delight to me. Thank you for sharing you birds and talent!

Thank you so very much! I have been shooting Purple Martins and Tree Swallows along with some eastern Bluebirds I will be posting later! I am going today to set my blind so I can get some good ones!

Thank you so very much! I is a very common bird. You will see them along old country roads. They like eating grass seeds so look for them in fields and in the ditches! They should be in Oaklahoma as well acording to Peterson field guide!
