Oh yes, Sony takes nice night shots. Mine was stolen in October. I bought a Canon. Not sure if I made the rght choice. Too late. Make the best with it. This a lovely shot. Very clean, crisp details. Nice artist's notes. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much. I used a Sony DSC-H9 with a Carl Zeiss lense Vario Tessar 2.8-3.7/6-72.

I was impressed with the detail on the moon surface. The stark contrast between moon and night sky is excellent. I would have loved to have seen this enlarged to fit the whole frame, it would have been amazing. Great shot all the same :)

Thank you very much. I have a whole frame shot of it but I found this one with all the night around somehow more impressive. I may post the full frame sometime.
