I have fascination with fireflies. English name is boring but Japanese name is romantic. It also have a spiritual meaning in Japan. Anyway, the fireflies is one of strong child food memories of mine.
I wonder I Japan, fireflies are very yellow and when they flies in the darkness, they are very bright like a stars. Do you have different type of fireflies?
Anyway, it is so rare to see pure landscape from you, but as I said, there is nothing you cannot handle. Even in the landscape, your work is so creative and filled with imagination and fantasy.

in the distance they have a bright light look like this, but up close its like a lime green color..in my area they come out in spring and stay around till the end of june before it gets hot..im contantly advertising my site(i transport people) and im ask what do u draw? my answer is everything..im always pushing these sharpies trying to stay ahead of the kids on the sharpie website..one kid ask me if i could give him some tips..i said.'sure! practice, practice,practice."...The FAR members r the only i have given some tips too.wink..thanks for the great review!

Yes, I understand why she gets comments about it. A very feminine piece full of softness and pops of fireflies.
This feels like an arboretum that I have visited in Thailand. Soft blues, indigo and shades of green. Like the details in the water cascading down and how the fireflies peep through the grasses. Interesting the hue of the water in the foreground ...dark, but yet our eyes don't even care because of the pops of fireflies.
This image has a happy tone and I bet when your daughter is stressed at work she just looks at this art and is transported away, not only by an image that ignites dreams but reminds her of a father's love for his daughter.

This is really cool. especially the fireflies and the greenery. love the fireflies on the water the best. Water is hard to do. for sure. I have one I tried to do and it was very difficult in markers.

roflmao!! ur kidding right?..well if not yes this a sharpie drawing..thats and bic pens is all i work with.nothing else.wink...when i 1st posted this 2yrs ago i had only a couple reviews and could never get anyone to really look at this..my daughter was talking about it the other night and i thought..heck now that folks r starting to notice my work maybe this will get the reviews it deserved..thanks again for the great review

It doesn't look like Sharpie drawing. Your like a musician who's first album doesn't sell. Than after you get some fame you rerelease it and it sells more. What does roflmao mean?

Very interesting! We don't have fire flies in Australia and so I've never seen them, but they must be beautiful to see? This is a good composition, I like the variations in the sizes of the glow from fire flies and the different streams of water in the waterfall. Thanks so much for sharing!

they come out in spring and last thru the middle of summer before it gets hot and muggy. i got one more for ya if u get the time..search "ooooo fireflies" this is a scene that brings back childhood memories along side the mississippi river..let me know whatcha think? wink. thanks for the great review!
