This is a really great shot of a beautiful cat. I love the bright blue eyes...really pretty kitty! Great cropping, framing and center of interest. Good luck in the contest.

Fuzzy was he? Reminds me of a cat I had when I was a child. Too bad you couldn't get a better capture of those gorgeous blue eyes. I would try to boost the definition as much as possible to give this photo a crisper look.

    Thank you very much, I appreciate your review and your input. I don't know; boosting the eyes would be a lie. He has not these deep blue eyes of Bluepoint Siam. He is a mix. His eyes have the color of ocean water rolling over white sand on a cloudless summer day. But I try it nevertheless.

    I meant the definition of the photo in general so his fur is a little sharper. Try getting a closeup head on so his eyes are the focal point if possible. He does have gorgeous eyes and you describe them so well. Do you have continuous shooting mode?

    That's a little tough. The photo was shot with the telescopic lens from 40 feet away. [It is not my cat]. I have the definition already boosted,the shadows and highlights adjusted [as written in my notes]. More blows the highlights to much; especially on top of his forehead and beside his ear on the right. After reading your original review; I had a look at the eyes and tryed to work them separately but adjusting the blue curve, by it looks not natural to me.

    Too bad he's not yours so you could take a lot more photos. He's really very photogenic. I don't think you understood. I didn't mean you should change the color of his eyes. Happy shooting!

    Oh I can make more photos, he is neighbors cat. Even comes over to visit with my cats or collect a tread; but he is gone like lighting when he sees a camera, even of his owners. I have to stalk him. His owners were happy when I gave them the photos. They tried for years.
    I did not try to change the eye color just make the blue deeper. I guess, somebody who don't know the cat would think it's his eyes.
    I will post one of my cats with really deep blue eyes sometime.

    Thank you very much for your review and your input. More light is critical. He has very reflective fur. Even on this overcast day there is some loss of detail ontop of his forehead and on the right of his ear.

Hi Cleo, Your title fits the image perfectly! It does look like the cat is a but confused or surprised at what's going on! I think the expression on its face makes a GREAT shot! The lighting and DOF here are very nice and I love those blue eyes.

What a pampered little kitty this one is!
Beautiful full face with such deep blue eyes. I don't think I have ever seen a cat with such blue eyes..

This is one confused looking cat. Clarity and contrast are good as is the framing.
