This is really excellent Mark. I wouldn't actually have recognised it at first as your work - the style's a little different - but on closer inspection I can see lots of your fine detail. I love the semi-abstract feel to this. It's really well composed and is so interesting. It's keeping me captivated. I really, REALLY love it!

this was the 1st contest i won on FAR. still always a favorite of mine but didnt get much reviews back in the day. thanks chrissie for the great review.

That's a great classic song. This is a very creative drawing, I love the doors, one after the other. The colors are beautiful as well, the golden, yellows go great for the "Dust in the Wind" Good luck in the contest!

This is actually my favorite piece of yours...one that I would hang on the wall. I love the perspective, the palette, the almost Dali feel to it. The palette in fact is what attracts me to it the most as well as the bit of humor, which I think is a totally appropriate emotional response.
Now, of course, I know that my family would love best the Red Sox piece of yours, which I almost reviewed but it would have been to say 'go sox'. I think your other work may have more commercial appeal...every city would produce buyers. But this one to me is true genius and if I had more stars I'd give it to you.
Not that I don't get your other work, but this one is crazier, like me.

ROFLMAO!!!!!oh god i love it..the dont get it part...lolol..well dear i do strange art and ill be the first to admit it..to keep the reveiws and interest coming in i do the sports art or tributes...but things like this or heavy metal. or rock band or movie tributesthats more me...but then i would get those i dont get it routine...i take it you have seen any of my strange art or true blood art huh? check the portfolio just for gigles and you will see whyi laugh...it is an honor that i have please you with this.. i was singing the dust in the wind the whole time i was drawing this. glad that youked and do appreciate the great reveiw.

So one more funny thing for the day: When I heard this song, and for the longest time, I thought it was: "Ducks in the Wind"....until there was a whole group of us singing at the top of our lungs and everyone else stopped, burst out laughing until they cried, and I had to have an explanation. Will look about after I recover from two sick cats today.

ya know cleo..when i first entered this in the contest i dont think i got but a few reveiws..have promoted 3 times since then and just barely got it recognized ribbon on here. However since that was a FAR sponser contest i think it got the fair shake...since it won now i got all these reveiws on it...just amazes me....lololthank you for the congratulations and do appreciate you taking the time in giving me this great reveiw.

you know the first time i posted this when they 1st annouced the contest and i was lucky to get more than 4 reveiws then. kinda caught me off gaurd...i rarly get more than a few votes...was thinking of start to stay out of the contest...who would ya thunk it..lol..thank you and i appreciate veiwing your work also.
