What a lovely composition with mostly earth tone color expressed with a bit of orange in leaves to border it. Nicely done.

wow this is beautiful, it gives the sense of the end of autumn leading into winter, so a great one for your November (wrong season for Nov on side of the world :-))I love the depth leading to the person walking along the path out to what seems like the end of the forrest...beatuful work, I would love to see the calendar

Wow thanks for such a high rating and coming from the masters of pastels and yes you are a master regardless of when you started, I am chuffed to bits that you like it that much. The calendar turned out really well, the colours came out lovely and now I have a nice little stash of Christmas presents to hand out. I have one set up at http://www.redbubble.com/people/corrinasart/calendars/8021534-a-year-in-pastels-by-corrina-holyoake

Has such a feeling of mystery and solitude to it in a good way. Love the way the path bring the viewer into the walkings. It looks like a nice place to walk along and think about things. You have done a beautiful job with November for this. Good work!

You know what really works about this piece? All these competing geometric angles. The tall, vertical trees straight and narrow versus the rangy horizontal lines of the floor versus the organic and flowing path of the trail. All that creates a a great sense of contrast in the piece. As does the variety of lights and darks. Great use of color. Very subtle, but still very evident. This would make a fantastic mural on a wall. You are getting better with each and every piece you do. Welcome back to FAR, we missed you here. Hasn't been the same without you.

Oh wow, THANK YOU!! I am so chuffed you like it that much. I was really worried I wouldn't be able to do this one. It started off looking a little dodgy and I was thinking yup this might be filed under B! Really pleased I stuck it out now, its one of my faves and is down for the big project next year. Thank you so much for the lovely words and its good to be back. Looking forward to keeping up to date with your work again and getting some top tips
