Very creative and expressive piece. Not bad for something you just doodled. The anatomy, and shading are good , as is the expression .

I really like this, but I don't like the "shading" on this. It looks like stuff running down her leg and arms. Other than that you did an excellent job on the details.

i was experimenting around with a new color of pen using it for shading back then. I have adjusted to a couple of different colors since then. ( of course in plain english i said"i just fine tuned it since then")..lol..thats why i commented saying i was doodling. this was just an experiment picture before i started on a bigger project. I am glad that you have enjoyed this picture and thank you giving me this rating. 4 1/2 stars is really is a good rating for a doodle and thank you for being generous. have a happy new year!

Sure fits the contest theme! For a doodle it's amazing- hate to think how good it would be if you had taken your time. Have you ever done any comic book illustration? Your talent is just incredible.

thats a tough feild. so many talent out there and so little jobs available. I have applied in many comic contest but never came close to be considered. I going into a different direction towards the commercial art feild like advertising, movies,tvs,products etc. sad part is you have to have that college degree for many to talk to ya. like that paper taught me to do this huh?..lol, thank you so muuch for taking the time in giving me this excellent review.

This is awesome the way you have drawn her. The way you have done the dress is fantastic. I like the way you have her in the picture too. The detail and shading on the dress is stunning. I like all the shades of red in it. That red hair is neat too. I like the way you did the background around her too. An excellent work of art. Good luck in the contest.

well thanks ann! i am so glad that you have enjoyed this piece. Luck in the contest? shoot i barely get any votes and always in in the back end of the contest so im really not paying attention to that anymore. Im doing this for the recognition. looks good on a resume when applying for a commercial art jobs which im still looking for out there. I do appreciate you taking your time in giving me this great review.
