Well i enjoy your rendition of a doll composition and the title you've selected to go with it. But how did you get my brother to pose for you?lol
Just saw him perform as Cher at an awards banquet and it always gives me mixed feelings. I go because i love my brother! Rejection does not show love. Love the effects drawing you into the doll as well.

For a doll I think she looks on the scary side of things! Maybe its the combination of reds and blacks. The face too suggests that this lady takes no prisoners! Nice sharp shot with good exposure. A good photo, well done!

She is a diva, I agree. She is ornamental as well. Somehow she looks more like a collectors item than a doll a kid would play with. Her face seems maybe hand painted. Somehow I have the feel tat she may is from way back then. The 1920's or 30's Art Deco style. In any case enormously interesting. She is outstanding captured. The details are amazing. The burgundy-red of the background is perfect. A diva in front of the theater curtain giving references to the audience. I would like to award six stars but account to the FAR rules I can't give you an extra star.

I like the placement of the doll as a strong vertical line. The contrast of the black against the red is really well done. I have to say though that this doll's persona reminds me of a showgirl in Vegas or a saloon girl in westerns. The out of the ordinary - eye catching image isn't here. thanks for sharing Cyn
