I do believe this one is ok, your skies show a lot of an effect of an approaching storm, the trees are very detailed, love the way you have the light upon the field an dthen once again towards the edge of the picture, the birds in the sky are a nice touch, the fenceline is done well, this is a very pretty picture.

This is interesting the way you have painted this one. I like the coloring in the sky. I like all the detail and the green in the trees. I like the way you have the light on the grass on top of the hill. You lose a lot of the fence in the darkness. I also think the bottom of the picture is a little too dark. Lightening up behind the second tree would bring out the beautiful coloring in the tree too.

I too, plan on entering Sandy's challenge but haven't had a moment yet. Looking at the photo, I see all of the elements of her original photo, but this one is a lot darker than the original. The sky and small clouds have created a lot more malevolence than the original. thanks for sharing my friend. Cyn
