Excellent sharpness. The composition is good as well. As nature shots go this is really good. I have been trying to get one of these for a long time, and never succeeded.
One thing that might be nice to try to do is to use fill in flash (perhaps external one) to illuminate the eyes, although this is extremely difficult to do.

I would almost swear you can see knuckles on this squirrels front paws!LOL I think this is the CLOSEST close-up of a squirrel I've ever seen. Love the reflection in the eye! I think you have a GREAT chance of winning in the contest! FA won't let me give you a six, but I did want you to know you deserved one in my book!

Love the detail and the close up here, lighting is great, focus wonderful! adorable the way you have captured this little one with his little paws together, it is almost as if he is praying. just too cute!
