Well I'm buggered in this contest xD wonderful clarity and gorgeous reds on her beak and eye. Aren't the females usually less vibrantly coloured than the males? would be fascinating to see a 'him bird'. The detail in the eye and feathers is immaculate. Well done on the capture of this image.

This is an awesome and beautiful picture of this cardinal. I like the close up and all the detail you see in the feathers. The way she has part of that seed in her beak is great. I never knew that they had that little bit of red on the eye. An excellent picture in every way. Good luck in the contest.
