Brilliant color. What camera settings did you use? Good detail. I like how you cropped this. The lighting was good, just a small glint in his eye. Did he see you?

Thank you so very much! This one did see me but he let me get a few shots before flying. I shoot an Olympus E3 camera ISO 400 with a 70-300mm lens 750/sec f8

Love the clarity, love the angle and love the spectacular colour
I think the darker hues suit this and complements the vivid blue
i wonbder what it would be like with a little bit more cropping.

Very nice shot and very nice subject. I like your composition with the supporting branch as well as the appearing glow around the bird. Contrast and sharpness very good. Good focus, too. Don't you think the background is too dark???

Thank you so very much. The background is a combination of trees and is all natural. I did use the burn tool to get rid of some grain.

If I was supposed to post this shot I would have used a background lighter than the blue of the bird to get her more visible. What is your opinion? Thanks. Sorin

What a stunning angle, i especially admired how the lighter shades of the background wrap exactly around the bird and its perch! Detail and focus is good. Color work is excellent. Thanks for the opportunity to review your work.

This sweet little bird stands out nicely against the blurred background. Wonderful job. Good clarity and focus. He gave you a good pose. You can see his soft, feathery down on his underside. It tempts me to reach out and pet him.
