Very nice close up shot of this little lady. I think the females are very pretty as well in a more subtle way. Your focus is amazing and shows the details and colors of the feathers beautifully. I like how you caught her with the seed in her beak. Great job.

Wonderful shot of this female Cardinal, they are one of my favorite birds. Nice catch with the sunflower seed in it's mouth. Excellent sharp focus, lighting and framing. Good luck in the contest!;)

the colors are nicely picked up by the camera, the blurred background makes bird more pronounced, i dont know if that was intentional 'depth of field or not'. The subject matter is a little dull, it lacks creativity

This is an incredible capture and I wish I had more stars to give. This little female is every bit as beautiful as her male counterpart. The cropping of this is excellent and the clarity is perfect. I am now a fan! Very well done and good luck with the contest!
