Cleo, loved your notes and your image.
I love the mixture of color and black and white as well as the placement of your images in the composition. It is artistically rendered yet is an accurate rendition of the period.
Not permitted to give you a 6 or I would. Bren

Very interesting and fun to look at. The different images are well balanced throughout the frame, and there's a story I can think of with each image within the frame. Nicely done.

This is a very nicely composed picture. Many of the greats. I like the black and white with the hint of blue. That is a nice touch. Great technique.

Thank you very much for your review and your wishes. [I am not sure about winning at all. Some people find it to dark and to busy.]

this is a striking image albeit friendly. the use of neg. images - time past. your choice of 'people' to populate the image is excellent. very nice.

a picture that deserves a six and sorry not to be able to award. a great choice of subject and as you say, the time of hardship, produces the finest and rebellious music (art). i remember your previous construction that touched on this theme and you have really outdone yourself, with the placing of each character. the arts were incredible in this period and your picture is almost like jumping into a time machine, to the most magical of time. i sure cleo this picture will gain heaps of appreciation.

Thank you for your thoughtful review and for understanding my intentions. I am amazed that you still remember the previous. The theme really stays with me. Well its my theater job what always swims to surface in my art. I probably will do another sometime. The dance and the fine arts did fall a bit short in this one.

This is very creative. I like the look of the old 1920's. You have a hint of color, which is great. You've captured everything from that era beautifully.

Thank you very much for your review, your wishes and your input. Well the darkness and the crass black and white relations are intentional. They are symbolic for the time. Dark age of regression and inflation with rhinestone glimmer on top and with an outburst of extraordinary and revolutionary art. The most difficult circumstances of life producing masterpieces of art out of darkness.
