What a study. Drifting, source of light, pastel colors, shadows. This has an excellent appeal, focus and very soothing to look at. This has a beautiful appeal. Just looking , eludes serenity and peace. This is beautiful and creative.

Great job on the detail, very realistic. The murky green water is also well done, the way it becomes obscure into the mist.
Is that a bird against the sun? If so, too sharp. A butterfly? If so, just right. It's a matter of perspective.
I think that light source behind the bird should have a greenish/yellowish tint to it.

Lovely feel of the willowy strands of foxtail in the wind. The fog is like a fading old photo which adds depth to the gray wall that the fog would be. Personally it gives me an eerie feeling but if that is what you were aiming for, you did a good job. The ground area feels as if it is under water, adding to my personal discomfort. I love everything about this piece...the monochromatic color scheme, the wheat? stalks, the way the water blends into the textured background and the bird flying into the hazy sun. Absolutely gorgeous!
