Well I like the simplicity of this. I love the greenish hues. Of course the post and barbed wire are the subject, strange but very nice. I like this alot.

Initial impact is good. Dramatic and creative piece making a great statement. Good use of hues and choice of pallet. Tonal range is dramatic in the subject pole and wire but very muted in the surrounding landscape giving the emphasis on the wire. Composition is interesting and keeps with the contest theme well! Jean

Wow . This is a real amazing artistic combination - who would imagine that as an item of men touched landscape - it is a simple object that nobody even thinks of, in addition it is rotten and not used anymore - hanging on the ground - telling a story form the past service - the olive golden tone of your picture is creating a twilight effect of undergoing world grey beige hurt said and at the other hand a flair of hope as the green is strong there are flowers perfectly grown - the light is shining through the brume just in the height of the circular part of the fence - the water is running and the seeds are the promise for new life - amazing wire with perfect technical skills , well done with a very profound hidden message

Great entry! I like the simple, personal feel of this. The colors are lovely as is the light that seems to have picked out this one post and coil of wire. The little daisies add a great soft touch, and the rising mist makes it seem lost in time. Donkeyoatey

Good composition and balance. The dark vertical post counters the almost midway horizontal line of the yellow field, The moody sky is lifted with the bright light daisies. Good colour harmony and tonal variations. Well done!
