Such vibrant colors for starters. The large yellow day lillies coordinate with the lovely little purple flowers; arranged just so in the two-tone striped vase. A lavish brocade gold draping backdrop adds richness to the setting. Three tiny flowerettes and two Golden Delicious lie casually in the shadows. A scrumptious picture.

Dramatic initial impact on this still life. THe use of complementary colors is effective. Good tonal range and very believable lighting source. Your carrying the purple flowers to the bas of the vase is good. Pleasing background in the green golds! Jean

Really like your drapery textures here, Shawn. Also enjoy the color wheel opposites, purple and yellow. Shading looks right on the yellow flowers...purple ones all seem approx. same brightness. You've done a masterful job shading the vase, especially around the handles, though the base looks kind of foggy (to me). Beautiful drapes! You've produced a very nice composition, I envy your skills!
