Love the authentic feel of this, but the quality is like something from a movie trailer. Also was intrigued by the calligraphy in the back drop, really adds cultural interest and flair to the shot! And now I know how they keep their hats on ! Great "real" shot here.

Fabulous portrait of this gentleman Fred, love the writing on the wall, his typical hat and he is sporting the well know goatee. You have captured all the culture in this shot, with excellent focus, dof, exposure and framing;)

Yes, Yes, Yes. This is a very good portrait with great focus, details, interest, and color. The flesh tones are really good, the shadow on the forehead is nice as it is not over contrasted. Very nice.

Very good shot of a Chinese fisherman, although would not have known he was a fisherman without your notes. Like your framing and your focus is spot on. Lighting is very good too. Looks a friendly type of person who was happy to have his photograph taken. The chinese writing in the background on the wall adds a burst of colour and makes the shot more interesting, even though I do not have a clue what it says!

A wonderful picture of the Chinese Fisherman with his wide straw hat, wispy beard, smiling eyes & a face full of character. Change the background & put the picture into black & white & he would not look out of place 100yrs ago. Great composition, with beautiful lighting,sharp focus & superb camera techniques.
