Hi MK,
I bet Mino Loved this!
How could she not? You really put her spirit within your image. Love the way she's holding that paintbrush! SHe is a spectacular artist!
I'm always astonished on how YOU can be so precise with Sharpies as your painting tool.
Awsome Job! :o) Helvi

Handsome idea , great presentation, super dedication - the spiral your are using is similar like a bottle ghost coming out with energies that we never know what comes along - unpredictable and Mino is that as she taps into all styles and always with accuracy and professionalism - very special for you as you chose the white color for her face as normally you prefer the red skin - you are showing her mixing the colors through her movement always coming up with something special and new - a Samurai knows what he is doing, peaceful and truthful and she represents this exactly often with wake up calls - super composition , super technique - great job

Great tribute, you captured the essence of the artist. Excellent color, facial expression, and very nice notes. I like that she arises of a spiral, as the genius of the wonderful lamp, because his works are magic.
Well done.

What a great tribute to Mino - I bet she loves it! Such eye catching use of bold colour, mixed with your usual wit. I wouldn't want to mess with Mino and her paintbrush!

Yasue as onna-bugeisha, that's something I had never imagined. I have always kind of considered her to be fairly traditional in manner but very unique of mind and heart.

I think that you have really captured and aptly reported the special Yasue spirit here, my very talented and witty friend. The intensity of her work is shown on her face and in her weapon with your Take-No-Prisoner composition. Your use of bold, varied colors propelling her out of the vortex of thought, speaks to her creativity. Another home run piece, MK. Well done! I am sure that she is honored by your tribute. JAKE

Beautiful tribute to a very fine artist from another fine artist. Love your bright colors and circular delivery. Great blending and line control. Love the facial expression and the flowing hair. She looks like she is ready for another work of art. Great piece of art!

This is interesting. She is being brought down into the whirlpool. Why? Also she had a hit because of the blood on the staph hook. She is a nice person but don't cross her.

Ha, Ha, had to smile at this one! Very colourful which is apt since this lady does use a lot of colour to every good effect. Just hope the red on the edge of the brush is paint and not blood. I say that because in your work she looks pretty fearsome to me!
