The scene is lovely. The blues and greens give it a very peaceful feel. The swan on the river enhances that peacefulness. It looks like a very cool day with a promise of rain.
Thank you for your notes. I just learned that water mixable oil paints exist. I never knew that. Very interesting.

Many thanks for your lovely review. The water mixable oils are made by Winsor & Newton, Artisan range and the advantage is that they dry quicker than regular oils and you can clean brushes in warm soapy water. Suzanne

The floating duck is so fortunate she has all the entire stretch of this pond all to herself.
The reflection is impressive as it mirrors the features like the bushes and trees and grass and skies realistically.
The details are excellent.
However, a smoother sky wherein the strokes of paints differ from those of the foliage would have given the optical illusion of the depth of perspective.
Well, that's only an opinion of one reviewer...

Very nice setting. Love the fluffy clouds and the beautiful tree line. Great work on the water and the reflection. Love the swan. Makes it look so peaceful. Great detail in the landscape. Very nice painting.

Just enjoying the cool water on it's feet and the sunshine in the sky. Your use of color is really good, and the shades of green and blue really make up this whole scene.
