This is amazing! Great attention to detail. Good angles, perspective is spot on. Nicely done. I like the shading, though at times when I look at the mouth, something seems a bit off, but I look again and it looks fine. Love the look in the eye, he's paying attention, and the ears are well done. Thank you for sharing your talent.

brandyjack,
you are very welcome.
Zillions of dots used to capture the details and the shading! It is all by hand, no machines used in the creation of this drawing, just tools a pen and ink.
Thank you for the support, I am very pleased you like this piece of art work well enough to comment on this one as well.

Had an Alsatian in my own family when I was a young girl. Got the dog from a dog's home when it was young and very frightened. Such beautiful looking animals which can be very friendly or not, as the case may be. Depends on what they are trained for. Great drawing/picture which is so recognizable as an Alsatian. Must take hours to do this pointillism work. Doubt I would have the patience.

susanlen,
The time it takes depends on the size of course, this one approximately 40 hours. To me the eyes are what captive you and hold you, if they are right the drawing seems to always work.
Thank you for your support of my artwork. I am very pleased you liked and enjoyed my stipple drawing. The trick is how to make it look representative of the subject, by just using the dots of ink.
Have great week,
Cheers!

Wow. That's all I have to say. From a distance, this looks like a real photograph, but when you get close, you can tell that is really a drawing, made of tiny little dots. This is so great you are very talented. I am looking forward to reviewing more of you works!

If I had more, I would give it. This is beautiful. He reminds me of the old TV show Rin Tin Tin. The shading with the pointillism is great. Details in the face
is amazing. The profile with the tongue hanging out is the prefect example of this breed.

This is as amazing as the Doberman. You have the detail of the markings down to perfection with excellent shading and coloring. Tremendous job using this technique.
