AV you are a magician to turn this sculpture into such a high contrast and realistic looking work of art. Wonderful lighting which I feel is the key to this outstanding piece. Also beautiful background colors Very well done.

Hi Annie,

I love nature and my feelings about the wolves are the same as yours. I hope they will be here forever too! Love the sculpture of the wolf family you found. I think the background you added fits the wolves so well. matches their haunting howl. The end results are beautiful! The colors in it are wonderful.

Beautiful job as Always and SOOOOO deserving of a six!
Good Luck in the Contest!

Excellent image, to go with excellent story. I agree with you about the wolves, and it must have been awesome meeting them face to face, I assume in the wilderness? Lucky you, and your work shows the impact, Fantastic job, as usual.

I love living in Your Fantasy world! Annie creates... I drool and stand in the shadows in awe!
I love the silhouette wolf family. The mom and dad plus three wee ones. I do have a wish for more light on the two up front (one left/one right)
It would be great to see the silhouetted details of their heads and noses. But, that is me always wishing for more! Someone here taught me that! ;)
I love the use of the lens effects so much, I think I am getting it!
Superbly done and geniusly creative from that delicious mind of yours!
Well done Cara! Great work!

I was actually thinking that it wasn't quite your normal type of work as the wolves seemed a bit out of place, but as I realized it was a photo of a sculpture I noticed why there seemed to be a more 3d look to the wolves presence. This also helps draw them into the foreground a little more than a flat picture would. Very nice.

Fabulous image, great silhouettes and beautiful and colorful sky.
There is movement within the composition of this picture, which by the way is awesome. It's a stripling image with great initial impact.
Excellent work Annie . Good luck with this, it's very worthy!

The colors and the way you handled them as silhouettes against the background, creates a strong emotion of wanting to see them, to connect with them.
I think what have created and what you have written tie together very well in this piece of art.
The use of the highlights flash point and the rings/circle light elements in the negative space draws the eye into the composition, making the wolves the focal point of interest.
It is well thought-out and crafted image, the only component that creates a disruption in the flow is the young wolf pup on the right, he needs a little more definition to help separate him a little more from the larger wolf behind him.
A suggestion, I might create a highlight on the large wolfs nose area, that would create a flow line between the two and connection as well.
still nice composition.

Thank you so very much for the lovely review Lucien. I see what you mean by adding more highlight on the wolf's nose.
