The color of the fur surrounding this outstanding eye clearly tell you it belongs to a fox. You have painted this eye beautifully capturing the essence of its beauty as the light reflects off it. I can image eyes can be extremely difficult and you have made this look easy.

A very well made painting. With the depiction of one eye you are able to make the 'viewer' see the fox in his/her mind!:) The colours sync with each other and the brushwork is excellent. Good luck in the contest!

I love the way you show texture and the hairs with such fine lines. Great mixture of colors showing a hint of the fox's red fur. Great eye with reflection. It looks very realistic. Great job.

At first glance this looks like a photograph. I like how upon closer inspection I can see your brush strokes. The colors are beautiful. I especially like how the reflected light on the upper part of the cornea obsures the pupil, giving depth to the eye. Nice job!

The reflection appears as coming from the snow-capped mountains.
The shiny outcome is effective in bringing out a glossy finish of tie sclera, iris & pupil.

The rich colors and tight focus of this eye is fascinating. The eye is sharply focused on his prey and there is intensity and determination locked into this eye's stare. The coloring of the fur is awesome. I can feel the soft bristled texture of the fur.
