They really are a perfect heart shape. I love the soft pink color and the green leaves to set them off. Nice use of the light as well. The veining is nice and crisp. good composition and focus. Good luck in the contest.

An unusual image for Valentine's Day but being a flower lover, I like it a great. It is still in keeping with the theme because the blooms, which are Flamingo flowers are you rightly say, do have a heart shape, especially the way you have photographed them. I like the pinkness of the flowers instead of red. Composition is very good with the flowers against a black background but showing another flower, faded.
