A simplistic approach of rendering a monochromatic landscape in golden overtone.
From the foreground waters to the distant mountains and cloud formations, the composition keeps your eyes glued within the four parameters of the frame.
The half submerged root driftwood breaks the golden hues as it catches your attention on the lower right Third Grid.
Excellent lighting, focusing & framing.
Thanks for sharing.

This is a stunning shot! I love this paictue! It is the photo-journalistic quality that grabs me. The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good luck in the contest!

This is a very interesting work of art. I love the subtle way you put the grand canyon in the background. I also like the colors - yellow being predominant. The log adds a touch of authenticiy. Great work.

Not sure if this looks like Rio Grande or not because the part I saw had trees but I am sure it meanders around all sorts of different areas. Love the colors. Looks like there is a drought. Like the clouds and the reflections in the water with the dead tree

Excellent piece of digital art. Amazing textures and color. Love the hues and nuances, like the trunk with roots in the shore, the reflections, and the caused foam by the water strokes. Good luck.

This painting is just stunning and so original! The whole work looks like molten golds which are flowing into different shapes and textures. The mountains look like they have been gold-leafed.

wow, stunning, I love this effect. the yellow makes it look so distressed, yet the composition is so pretty. Great balance, just amazing, nice work.

Very nice entry for contest.

I never thought about digital art in making a landscape entry.

I like the golden hues, the greenish clouds, the nice reflections and the mountains going different directions, but I do not like the floating log. It reminds me of a big bug on a beautiful flower. To me, it just takes away, especially with the antennae-like limbs.
Sorry, just my opinion.

It is beautiful (except for the bug) LOL
