Oh boy SG did you set this one up perfectly!!

First...the sunset?? just amazing colors.

Then...including the two boats...barely silhouetted by the setting sun....and the island off on the horizon.

So so happy I held onto the last of my '6's....your photo gets it ...it is just beautiful in it's simplicity.

Really nice work SG. oh and best of luck in the contest.

lol...thought you might be happy that I still had a 6 SG. After my 1st week here I realized I only had a limited number of them and now I try to use just one a day. You were my 1 photo today!

Looks like a dream scene! Brilliant capture of the much photographed subject but with a difference. The ever changing light has been caught beautifully. The focus, and the composition have come out well. Thanks for sharing!

Fantastic capture - excellent moment
this sunset is breathtaking and the scene you created here with the fisher boats make the image a perfect wall paper

professional quality , excellent in focus, contrast and lighting ,
the way you have chosen your frame with the grey blue corner shows a perfect balance between colorful and light and soft pastel dark

excellent angle and position and as always the best view point some can find
well seen great shot

A beautiful composition with the boats balancing the island nicely. The sunset colors are fantastic and the light on the water is eye catching.

A virtual 7 for Photo of the Month!
Amazing Philippine sunset!
So warm & inviting to those in the temperate zone...
Natural palette of colors mesmerize your senses & relax your weary souls--secretly searching for serenity...
Nice interplay of lights & shade.
Good perspective & long depth of field...
A balanced composition!
I'm sure I'd like to upgrade my rating when the 6s be released tomorrow noon (Sunday, Phil. Time)...
Thanks for sharing...

A lovely seascape scene at sunset! Most suitable for the "Sunrise or Sunset" comp
The cloud/sun colours are warm and realistic, without any sign of burnout.
The horizon is level, which is another plus!
The boats give some foreground interest. They are silhouetted against the sun, with just enough detail left in them to hold the viewer's interest
Nice one!
Best of luck with the comp

Amazing sunset. You've captured some gorgeous colours here with the setting sun casting its fiery glow in the sky and reflecting in the water. The bancas create added interest and lead the eye to the horizon. Very good lighting and focus. Lovely composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne
