this is gorgeous piece of art..the intricate detail in the clothing ,let alone the face is outstanding. The transition between the darks and lights is perfect..I cannot but give this the highest rating for any picture to date and congratulate on a piece of stunning art :) neilnap773

It was the age of innocence. I love the hats from that era, so many ribbons and feathers. Your proportions are excellent and your shadowing gives the art work depth.
A beautiful face with delicate features, everything a Gibson Girl needed to be. The hat and clothing are appropriate for the era.
Just a remarkable piece of art. I always enjoy your work, Linda. Just beautiful.

Hi Linda,
What a wonderful entry for the April Open Challenge! I love vintage drawing and this one, to my eyes is, "Outstanding". Excellence in the light and darkness and I don't know how you do it but I love the sepia overtone. There is no way that I could give you anything less than a six star rating for this. I wish you the Best of Luck in this contest~

Beautiful drawing, Linda. You've captured this lady's demure attitude very well. I love all the detail you've drawn in her clothing and her hair. Excellent light and shading and the background works very well. Don't know how you do these beautiful drawings but this is stunning. Suzanne

Hi Linda,
As someone who loves vintage photos too, I really love this. Was this done on sepia paper, I wonder? I tend to do these kind of drawings on sepia paper to enhance the effect but perhaps you've added some shading to the white to create this ethereal effect. Excellent work and thanks for sharing this.
