What a beautiful painting. So realistic. It totally amazes me that you worked with so few shades and have it look real. Thank you for sharing.

Your welcome.

A wonderful piece composed with brilliant precision and rather difficult and fiddly procedures with the pastels by the sounds of your narrative. But you have captured this winter scene beautifully and worked the colours together wonderfully to create this textured, icy and really wintery piece of artwork. The subtle layering still allows for good depth and the plants and trees surrounding not only give contrast but perspective as well. Excellent work and best of luck in the competition! :)

You have the rare pleasure of a jbravo review. This makes me very cold to look at. Cold and lonely but pretty enough to go for a walk in. Love it

Linda,
A beautiful picture of a foggy morning at the lake the pines on the far bank appearing in & out of the mist as the breeze moves it. Created with very skilful draftsmanship beautiful choice blending & application of your complementary colours in bringing this scene to life.

Hi how are you, I like this pastel. Great use of the six shades. I see no signature so I,m guessing that your still working on it.I think everything is great on it. I would thought put the single tree in the right hand side a bit more white on it to push it in the back ground or add a bit more blue green to bring it out more. It is just in the middle and should be a bit more worked on. Thanks Linda best of luck.

your effort paid off! very awesome shading work through out the work. in my opinion a very strong initial impact that grabs the viewers eye and hold it to explore every inch of it. the blend of color is excellent. the depth is excellent. the details is excellent. the creation is well balanced and very eye appealing to the viewer. such a very creative artistic approach and saddens me that i have no more 6's to offer on this great work. so stand up linda and take a big bow and ill do this so you can hear me all from Florida (standing, clapping and cheering) woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooooooo!
