This is very nice Meg. I agree there is something quite fairylike about these frilly flowers. I like the composition- mixing many flowers rather than just one and having the stamens nicely spread through the photo adds balance.

They are beautiful! The stems are clear. The sections where the light shines bright are amazing. A suggestion would be light behind evenly, or a flash to take out shadows. Well done!

I agree they give the feeling of sprites dancing. But unfortunately they are dancing in the dark. The focus and detail seems to be good, but so much is in shadow that you lose the vibrancy of the movement. The stamen have wonderful line with golden charms. There is a good sense of flow. Well seen, I think well taken.

This is immediately pleasing to view, the lovely white petals with the white stamens does look like fairies dancing on clouds, it's impressive to see how well the stamens come forward from the white petals! Your white balance/ exposure is well controlled, nice detail is easily seen here. Well focused, the image is clear, this is beautiful and a pleasure to view!

Thank you. I got a new 70-300 lens and have had terrible results with the focus. I took this in the spring with my old lens and it is like nite and day. I am going back to my old lens after almost 4 months of frustration with the new lens.
