Really like the painting look you achieved with your filters. The colors are incredible. The stop action of the breaking wave is so nice. As is usual for you, your eye has captured the composition so beautifully. Perfect placement of the horizon, just enough of the shoreline, all around...a very lovely scene. Thanks for sharing.

This is a beautiful photo and your post processing has created the look of a lovely painting! The colors in the cloudy sky and reflecting on the water are beautiful. I love the way the light catches the tips of the waves in the lower part of the photo.

Steve,
A very beautiful God given Sunset painting the sky in shades of gold, orange & red that are then reflected on the crests of the waves in the sea as the incoming tide crashes onto the beach in the foreground your fast exposure freezing the spray the sea throws up. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Oooh La La! I'm on the edge of a VO! Yes you are the master.! LOL. This sunset is so dramatic and oozes of warmth and wet sand beaches. The rich and vibrant colors are spectacular in this one. The movement of the water is
beautiful. Perspective is key!
Really an eye catching, and
sense igniting image.

Your nice image certainly does have the look of a painting about it. Wonder where in the world you came upon this beautiful location? Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done!

Hi Steve thanks my friend for this magnificent presentation ... another of nature's unique ,spelling binding displays so masterfully captured by your keen eye and handy iPhone camera. The brilliant orange red colour tones just penetrate right into the depths of the soul igniting all the senses , so the journey within dances with joy. I love the deep earthy hue of the rock ledge nicely anchoring the scene on the left.. Its solidarity provides a feeling of sturdiness and strength . a bold contrasting value against the rolling seas that brush against its edges. Your choice of angles has played a wonderful part in producing this masterpiece.. the protruding rock ledge that juts out into the ocean has its very own place in the scene. Brings about a feeling of balance between ocean and sky and helps accentuate that deeper hue which spreads across the distant horizon.. The Master indeed has sculptured a magnificent array of lighting effects in the evening sunset .. The golden yellow splash of delight draws my eye right into the midst of the display.. as it slowly spreads itself throughout the intense reddish tones of pure magic.. A real feast for the eyes.. Loving the darker strains of colour to compliment the glorious patterns painted into the night's sky. The rich reflection on the blanket of sea below has its own personal value.. bringing movement into the rippling seas as they roll with the tide. The interesting little swell of water in the foreground is a lovely inclusion.. with the foamy coils of whitewash forming on the surface as the water tumbles in against the rocks. There exists a lovely feeling of balance and harmony throughout the picture. The strength in the horizontal array of colour in the sky, is contrasting superbly against the same horizontal flow of the water, which has a softer, less subtle overtone to its presentation.. and finally the boldness of the rock wall against the more lacy effect of the whitewash,, completes the balance with perfection.
Fabulous lighting with excellent focus allows the mind's eye to really receive such clarity as I gaze into your scene. I believe you and the Master work together Steve.. He may lay the presentation in front of you, but trusts in your judgement to place yourself in the necessary position for His beauty to be displayed in order for you to share it with others.. Well once again, I've managed to conjure up a small book for you to plough through .. How can I not.. when you allow my eyes to soak up such pleasurable delights... Nature .. in all its glory.
a scene to enrich the soul, soothe the mind and bring joy to the heart.. thanks for sharing my friend. as always, a treat and a pleasure to review .. cheers mel
