A beautiful & interesting picture of this old water wheel in black and white framed by the trees on either side of it. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Beautiful black and white photo of this waterwheel. There is something very artsy about these wheels. I put one in a painting that I did this month. It was a challenge to get it right. Love the placement and framing of yours in this lovely image.

Yes, I agree that your black and white treatment projects the feeling of great age. Your full and central composition grants a good look at your wheel and it's location. Exposure and sharpness are good. By the way what was it used for in its heyday? Well taken!
