Around here they are terrified of me. It would take a real effort for me to get such an fine shot as this. Beautiful colors and excellent detail in the wet fur.

This is an excellent closeup! Detail is sharp everywhere, the water ripples, the fur, the nice clear sparkle in his eye. Don't be afraid of them - they just need a little 'Muskrat Love' haha!

Nice shot of this muskrat. When I was a kid I would go to a nearby lake to goo skating in the winter. These little rats had burrows in the bank and where they swam in and out under the ice and made the ice thin in that area. Guess who skated over one of them. I can tell you, it was a cold walk home.
This is a neat photograph. I have not the first shot of one.
