Birth of a Galaxy is a wonderful Mixed Media Abstract and title. A good entry into the Everything Abstract Contest and a good contender. Beautiful flickers of light ....nice is the movement created and the textures and patterns. A god balance of tones and shapes makes this visually strong. Wow! This does give the impression of being up in space! I really like the textures shown here and the golden light that draws the viewers eye, it's an interesting circular pattern in the top portion of the lighted area. I'm thinking that this could be a pool of water with bubbles and ripples, it is interesting and the dark tones with the gold tones make it pleasing to view! Well presented! Thank you so much Pat. You are right. This was a drop of water hitting the surface of a lake where bubbles were coming up and the sun was glistening off the surface. Shhhhhh. Don't tell anyone ; )
