Very nice Macro of this busy Bumble Bee. I like the fall like colors and the fantastic crisp details on the bee.
I find it frustrating that so many do NOT understand the difference between a close up and a macro.

the problem comes from the contest committee: have a look at this one:
title: "macro photography (a)"
and just below: "show a real close up of your subject"

This is an overall excellent macro shot. The minor cropping worked well to get placement in the frame just right. The photo is sharp. Details are clear and well defined. Colors are accurate and natural.

Wonderful lighting to show the bee and flower centre so clearly. Great vibrant colours and blurred background. very nicely captured and composed.

A very beautiful picture of the Bombus Terrestris collecting nactar from the Cone Flower while the sun highlights it buff tail. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

Virtual 6 ( run out) excellent capture - the framing is just perfect, the naturally macro blurred background just lets the bee stand out in perfection - Hyper clear and sharp and I love to see these tiny pieces of pollen all over her body - you gor her from the perfect angle and position to see even how she works and what is left to collect on the bloom - great contrast and lighting, excellent color saturation - greatjob, all the best for the contest
