Mother and child,we have two of them at our Urban Metro Farm.Yup! You have described their zigzag pattern,perfectly.Our Main Coon Cat,Christian loves to play chase with them.But,yours is a beautiful portrait of one, with his watchful eye, amid the greenery,which enhances his colors.

You have indeed pictured this Rabbit well Grace, and I like so much the green background. Perfect for the brown hues of the animal. I especially like how well the eye is captured, and also how well you have brought out the textures of the fur.
The Rabbit is stand out pin sharp against the background, and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen. The exposure is just spot on.
The tight framing works so well, and the Rabbit has got a very good placement in the picture. I think this is a beautiful and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

My neighborhood is full of rabbits. You see a lot of them at night running up and down the street and in and out of people's yards. You captured a clear picture where the focus is sharp and clarity is excellent. Perfect timing with the shot. He didn't run away from you lol.

The light emphasizes the animal nicely, especially the ears. The reflection in the eye is intriguing. The photo is focused and has good depth. The colors are realistic. The rabbit stands out well from the green plants surrounding him. The close up framing is adequate. The photo is balanced.
