Since your granddaughter likes cherry blossoms and also wish to go to Japan, this must be a perfect birthday card. I also think it is truly lovely and I really like the color pallet you have used.
I an especially impressed about how well you have done the cherry blossoms. They are so detailed, and it must have taken you ages to do them. I like the detail of flower petal flying in the wind.
The format and framing is perfect, and the Japanese Geisha has got a very good placement off to the left. A truly beautiful and well done birthday card Mark, and I wish you luck with the contest.
