He looks a beautiful German Shepherd and pleased that you have trained him so well - so many people just don't bother with training. Colors are very natural and your exposure and white balance on snow is perfectly handled. Focus is sharp.

Love the setting and admirably good behavior of Kaiser with such beautiful colors and amiable look, although I think he could be very protective of you as well. At this point he likes to be released and go home where it is warm.
The coloring on the rocks is interesting, wonder if it is man made paintings that faded over time.
Beautiful photograph and so nicely presented.

Very nice portrait of your dog! He must be a well trained! I have a beagle puppy that I am trying to train, beagles are a little stubborn but with time and patience I think most dogs are trainable

Kaiser is a truly beautiful dog Pat, and I also find the background especially lovely. I like that he is looking at you when the photo was taken, and how he is lifting his paw. The dog is also standing out from the winter landscape in an excellent way.
The photo is very sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the dog. The white balance and exposure is spot on.
The cropping is perfect and with Kaiser sitting on the left, it is a very fine balance in the composition. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.
