January is usually our coldest month also but I need to travel a little distance to try and find scenery as beautiful as this and then of course to shoot it as expertly is the trick, well done

A beautiful golden sunset over Potter Marsh with the snow & hoarfrost clinging to the trees in the foreground & carpeting the ground & the hills rising from the marsh The roadway on stilts above the marsh adding interest to the composition. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Wow! Another great shot! The colours against the fresh snow are stunning! The trees are well placed and make for a great composition. I can almost hear the snow crunching underfoot, like it always does in the bitter cold. But you make cold look good! Well done!

Ah! This is stunning! The different colors of oranges, yellows, and blues in the sky just brighten everything up. The trees blanketed with frosty dress, the tressel or track and train with the other topped small hills in the horizon as well as the foreground--all just scenic.
