You know I wasn't sure why I liked this painting so much then I read your description. It really does take me to another time that just feels right. Great job. Also I was the best frog catcher when I was young.

A good looking nature shot posted here! Looks like and sounds like water and it's contents have played a large role in your life. Your fine, too and appropriate composition gives us an enjoyable view of a pond-side memory. Colours and tones are good. Nicely painted!

There is so much to be seen here Ray, it's a beautiful combination of colors along with a fabulous show of the light and shadows to show this scene, I can even see a small cabin up on the left, there are trees and branches and the pond showing the reflections of the light and colors, I see a few large stones in the pond.
This is a wonderful memory too, it's awesome that you are able to express this in this piece.
