This poor boat is in deep yogurt .The colors are great and the scene really convays the aproaching battle. I really like what you did with the reflections on the boat in the water.

This exhibits a person who has real talent. A very dynamic piece here.

Composition: Very well composed. The reflection of the sail boat in the water is very well done. That can be a challenge to get the reflection harmonious with the waves of the water. I think the worked until you got to the bottom.

Colors: Very compatible colors here. They all work together to produce this somber scene.

Subject Matter: Good choice. Unique.

Attractive Value: If I saw this hanging in a gallery, I would stop and take this in for awhile. Very talented, very talented work.

A lovely painting. Even tho a storm is moving in, this picture is still peaceful and gentle. We know the boat will stay ahead of the storm. Its the way your picture tells it. I love the blends of purple and blue with the pink mix. Makes for a nice reflection on the water. I did notice the lightening. The threat is there. Great detail and interesting subject.

Beautiful colors in your stormy sky and reflecting on the quiet sea. Love the black silhouetted boat and the rippled reflection. The sky is realistically created along with the delicate streak of lightening. Your approaching storm is shown well also with the very ripply sea on the stormside of the boat. Great job.

Lovely work! My eyes were drawn to the lightening and clouds leading into the background. I like the feel of the sailboat's reflection in the ripples of the water. I have a feeling of 'calm before the storm'. Your use of colours and hue throughout your work are magical and dramatic. Superb composition!

Very very cool Shawn. What could be bettter than a lone sailboat crossing the reflection of the sun and storm clouds gathering. Excellent details and depth to this one. Shirley

This is an amazing portrait. I love how the clouds capture the feeling of a storm but the breaking light causing the great reflection of the water. Your attention to detail is magnificent. Great job.
