This is a fantastic work of art. The way you did the washes and then added the salt is great. Amazing the effect you can get with the salt. I like the way you put the tree in with the moss on it too. The egret is stunning. The detail in this, way the water look, the depth you created are all excellent. An awesome work of art.

This is a wonderful rendition of this amazing bird. The limited colour palette works exceptionally well here. The bird stands out well against the background and the beautiful work you have done on the ground is a wonderful texture. I have no idea how you achieved this but its probably the digital bit? Really stunning.

Wow this is stunning! I couldn't producing such art from computer software! I like the background environment you've created for this Snowy Egret. We don't have these birds. I wish we did. Awesome and a good contest entry!

Very pretty painting. I really love the egret. You have captured the feathers and coloring of him very well. He really stands out against the darkness of the trees and background treatment. Colors are wonderful to suggest a swampy area. Dark silhouette of the trees work well to complete this. Like the hanging moss also. Wonderfully done. Wish I had a six for you.

Beautiful job on this piece. What better way to make the snowy egret stand out than to have an almost black and white background. Looks great. The tree and the Spanish moss are well done. The snowy egret is in a great pose to show off its feathers, the neck and beak. Good entry. Good luck in contest. Creativity of presentation is very good. Thanks for sharing.
