Thank you so much for your great review. The light effect was archived by shining a flash light into the center without using additional light and enhanced with filters.

A wonderful view of one of the most elusive flowers on the planet. The "inner" light you captured with your lighting is a perfect match for the natural beauty of a rare sight. I hope you stayed and got a few more photos of this wondrous flower.More open maybe? ..I have seen photos in books but never like this!.Just great Cleo...Dennis

Thank you so much Dennis, Yes I stayed up all night and got a view more photos. So about 100. I had posted a photo some time ago but will post more from time to time. The lighting is partly do to filters the rest to the handhold flashlight I used in place of a camera flash.

Clearly outstanding work. Really like your choice of background and the brightness that is in the center of your flower draws the eyes. I like how you can see the individual stems (?) or needles. Best wishes for the contest.

Thank you so much. Its needles on the green stem The rest are different formed petals. A main feature of this flower is that its look as if there are several different flowers put together as one. I will post different views of this flower over time.
