Love this presentation.

The cattails in the fore define this as a wetland as do the birds.

Good color, scale and interest.

Looks like a few places near me.

This is a nice fantasy scene. I like the way the cattails frame the forefront of the image. The mountains, fading off into the fog, are wonderfully done, fading in color. I also like the grasses. I understand why you choose the colors for the birds, but I'm wondering if a more natural tone would have worked more?

I like the feel of peering into this bog through the cattails. It gives it the element of surprise watching the egrets enjoying their secret paradise. Great portrayal of their reflections. Nice coloring of the marsh grass, dotted with a little color from blooms, and the mountain range on the horizon. Nice colors throughout. Impact, creativity and presentation are very good. Good luck in the contest. Thanks for sharing.

Really like the tone of this one. It has a very peaceful quality, but with wonderful impact. A delight for the eyes. Your reflections are great. Mountain area blending is wonderful and I love the color of the cattails in the foreground. Wonderful color choices which gives this good contrast. This is one of my favorites. Well done.

What a way to start the day.Roll out of bed, make coffee, take my truckload of meds and sign on FAR to have my eyes opened to this beauty! This,Shawn, has been the very best and the most beautiful entry that I have seen for this contest. Also, the first that I have seen that you used a program other than Photoshop. These cattails in the foreground are exceptional, with gorgeous color and texture. The fantasy birds are very creatively done. The greenery and the lovely white mist helps to move the eyes to the most beautiful layering of a mixture of pastel colors for the sky.I have to say that this is the best that I have seen in the entries for this contest and you can definitely count on my vote for this work.
Thank you for starting my morning with this awesome view.
Angelheart :)

OMG! How was it you were able to sit on a six for so long? LOL. You must be awesome managing money too :)) Thank you so very, very much, Angel!! I have ArtRage and a couple other little programs, but all my filters and plugins are attached to PSP 9, so I hardly ever use anything else. 99% of this was done in PSP. Again, I'm so glad you woke up when you did, thank you :)))

I would love to show my work but don't know how to go about it.You would not believe the # of programs I do have.'spensive ones too...but I got people LOL :)
