There is green and even more black for all to see.

Not sure what I'm ;ooking at or reading. I know as far as green goes it appears it is about one fourth.

Nothing bad, but not captivating either.

Thank you for your kind review. What don't you understand about reading? I appologize but I have to admit I don't know what is not understandable in my comments. Please tell me. Don't you know about Halloween? Or don't you know about the pagan and fairy tales told about nature since ancient times? Please ask what ever it is. I try to answer more clearly. Sorry may it's because I am not writing in the language I learned first.

The idea is very cool. Or shall I say... Ideas? I find myself checking the elements of this painting, and I generally find the ideas amusing and quite creative. But combining them in this single piece is not easy. Here the blending still doesn't feel right.
1: I think the overall effect would be better without this part. The symbolism is unclear.
2: Part 2 alone could make a nice individual painting... Of course in that case some more works would be needed.
3: The lady it self is a nice element , I think she would look even cooler holding a light or a candle.
4: > this part (in the blue box) is basically combination of the 2 and 3 but without the silhouettes of the animals. I can imagine some spooky clouds close to her gown... while she's walking and inviting you to go to the green door :)
5: I find this part as the most amusing one! The idea is very nice. And I think you can make a bigger picture of this part.
This painting has lots of potential. Keep it up.

Thank you very much for your kind, throughout and thoughtful review and all your inputs. I very seldom get a review as this. I sure will think about all your inputs truth I don't understand all of it.
There is a misunderstanding between us to start out with. This is not a digital painting or any kind of painting, not even a digital collage since I used only my own photos and clip art. It is a collage made with several of my photos. The only painted part is the dragon above the door and some on the dryad's dress.
Part 1 is a photo of the light over the door token with a moving camera. There is no symbolic in other than to put the green light in and my husband liking it better than the painted over version or the version were I had the owl [now beside the door] sitting on it.
Part 2 is an unchanged photo taken at night in or neighborhood. The lights over and beside the door are real as the window and the bushes. The door is green in its original color what gave me the overall idea.
Part 3: The lady is either a dryad or a witch how you like it. I added the witch angle just for fun and Halloween and because dryads aren't quit popular in Halloween celebrating countries. In my concept she is a dryad, a tree nymph. That is why she is green, holding a bird and the other animals are around her. Of curse she could be in daylight but still would be green our may had autumn colors and a leaf-dress but she would not hold any candle or other man made light. Of curse a witch would. I admit, thats the part were the double meaning doesn't work.
Part 4 is were I don't understand you it all. There is nothing than a dark area under the window of the original photo part-2-photo. Or do you mean the windowsill? I can't make it out completely even with the graphic editor blown up.
Part 5: I like it myself. Some more forest animals living in the dryad's tree [in my version] or maybe they are just cats for those who like the witch version better. But of curse these animals could be a new story.
Thanks again for you far above average review!

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. I read your notes but I missed the category and the writings under the note @_@ Thank you for letting me know. (Some people don't explain and don't ask even after I wrote them a full reviews, so here I find you not only as a photographer and artist but also as a good and willing learner too).
I'd try to make my review more understandable now.

The first part is on the top, it's about 1/5 of the total height. I think that part was not really necessary in this picture.
The second part is on the right part of the picture, below the green light. It includes a door, an owl's silhouette and a dragon. I think this part could make an individual picture already.
The third part, is on the left, it includes the lady. I think the animals around her doesn't fit the 'invitation' message. Maybe it's because their destination is a door, and not a castle :) I suggested to add a lamp or a candle in the previous review :) or maybe a Jack o lantern LOL
Part 4 is part two plus part part three, so it's basically the whole picture minus the lighting on the top. I suggested you to replace the silhouettes of the animals with some smokes around her feet. :)
As for the fifth part, I think you got what I meant there. That part is very nice, and I think it would look very good and original as an individual piece.
I hope it is clearer now :)
    Best,
    - Elvina

Thank you Sandra, I appreciate your encouraging review. It was something to find this green door with the erie light in or own neighborhood. It really triggered my imagination.
