Great initial impact with this beautiful close up.Excellent.Good creative presentation with capture of head tilt to add interest also.Wonderful blue colors highlighted so well by good blur to background.Great focus and lighting to see with great clarity the fine details and texture to his feathers.Wish I had more to give.Enjoyed much.Thank you.

Now I am jealous. I can never get a picture of a Blue Jay. Nice composition and good story telling and a great expression on this critter. I might play with the light and contrast a little just to make it pop out a bit more.

Great bird presentation. Color harmony is good. Center of interest is the bird. Cropping is good and not overly tight. You left some room for the bird to breath in. Focus is very sharp. I can almost count feather. Depth of field is really doing a grand job. All the background is blurred out which just pushed the bird closer to us for viewing. Story telling is in the title.

One of my favorite birds the Blue jay. He isn't easily captured, food will help.
A bold personality, you captured his bold color too. He is very sharp, and to me, very pretty against the bokeh.
