Great photo. Simple to create, just gotta be there at the right moment! And you were, the train car you caught had wonderful colours, and yeah...that is kinda funny, as if the big "X" wasn't enough...
Simple photos are the ones that win contests. And you showed that you know how to use your camera when presented with a short time frame to create a great image.

this is a very nice nature photograph. i can't see the bird very well as the train is in the way. but what i see of its feet has very nice detail. good color also and a funny sign. a pleasure to review and ty for sharing

Really nice image Willie...and yes there are some folks that need that yield sign there...many members of my family work for the railroad and they can tell you some stories...great exposure and good composition...thanks for sharing!

The initial impact is good. Nothing like a speeding train to get your attention. When you are stopped at the crossing you can feel the trembling ground and hear the squealing wheels. The composition, color, focus and contrast are good. Well done.
