Thank you very much for reviewing. Don't worry about the six. I appreciate the thought of it as the same.

Forget the technical jargon, this is just a nice shot and let's just leave it at that...I would have cropped it more, but still a well done job here...thanks for sharing!

Wow
What a great image!
I love the vast blackness with the moon in the upper right third of the image...
I love space travel and this absolutely caught my attention. I don't see anything you could improve...
Exposure couldn't be better, focus is sharp and clear, composition is great, storyline possibilities exist for this image...everything is great.

I think its a great entry for the competition. Since night is really the absence of the sun, and moonlight is its reflected light. The half moon indicates a balance between the two. It conveys night and the absence of light, and the presence still, of the light that brings day. It a fine capture with good clarity and sharpness. The surface of the moon is clearly visible. Good crop to bring focus on it. The moon slightly off center presents it well.

Thank you, I appreciate your toughtfull review very much. I love your correct interpretation of the image presenting scientific facts in an somehow poetic style.

wow such awesome details on this! I have tried and only have one I'm really happy with but nothing as great as this! I would move the moon up and over to the right just a tad but just it itself is amazing! :)

Thank you very much, I appreciate your review and will rethink the framing. I cropped the picture to that 3:2 format in purpose. I liked the of center position but it is symbolic also. I positioned the moon in the upper right quarter as symbol for the position of the moon between the third quarter and the full moon [waxing gibbous moon] but this symbolic may don't work as intended.
-
If its got scientific meaning then i say leave it. i know nothing about that stuff so i was going off of whats appealing to position in only my oppinion. Its amazing as is. :)
-
I think about anyway. Scientific or not; if it is not appealing and understand it is of no matter; the scientific meaning is lost anyway.
-
To be honest though. If you were to come back with ne comment on positioning as you did mine (if you get ne more) it woukd be great to teach others in this. The knowledge of what you have shown me isn't as strong out in the workd as it should be. :)
-
I also have to rethink my comments I guess :-)
-
I really hope you didnt think i was attacking you. You have no idea how enlightened i am by your response and knowledge. It gave me more of a respect for your awesome shot. :)

A very nice clear image of the moon. Many thanks for providing setting so us others can try to capture a good image also. Lots of detail on this image of some of the crater. Nice framing and good depth on this. Well done.

This is a wonderful shot...grabbing those details. I'm not sure my camera can do that. Your cropping is excellent using the rule of thirds in this case. Fantastic shot. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much. The position of the moon in the picture has a second reason. It is symbolic for the position of the moon between its third quarter and the full moon.
-
Thanks,,,I did not know that and you taught me something today.

Great capture. A perfect entry for the contest. Really quite the spectacular
shot. You do not mention using a tripod but perhaps that goes without saying. A pleasure to review.

Thank you very much. I did not mention anything about the hold of the camera because it is probably not a good advice. The camera was handhold. I didn't had a tripod with me but wouldn't pass the opportunity. I braced myself on a car, my elbows on my body, hold my breath and hoped that it would turn out right.
